Yoga is a passion of mine and I've been teaching for about 5 years now. I am a RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher), RCYT (Registered Children's Yoga Teacher) with a trauma informed focus. I love to connect through movement, music and breath. My yoga classes are accessible to all bodies. The goal in yoga is not necessarily about the postures, but more about coming into that enlightened or meditative state. I want to help you get out of your head and into your bodies so that you have tools to help you when you're off your mat. When we move our bodies, we are activating the sympathetic nervous system, our fight or flight, but when we focus on breath to movement or holding postures in a restorative manner, we are able to activate our parasympathetic nervous system, our rest or digest.
